What is Procedia – Systems Engineering?
Launching in January 2011, Procedia - Systems Engineering is an e-only journal product focusing mainly on publishing high quality conference proceedings. Procedia - Systems Engineering enables fast dissemination so conference delegates can publish their papers in a dedicated online issue on ScienceDirect, which is then made freely available worldwide.

Best Paper Award

Elsevier has agreed to issue this Award with RiskLab Global society annaully. Best Papers selected from journal of Systems Engineering Procedia are granted this award annually.

The Best Papers are nominated by the Best Paper Award committee. These are papers that were published in journal of Systems Engineering Procedia and for which the committee feel deserve special recognition. The criteria for “Best Paper Award” consideration are two: a) contribution to the field of risk management, and b) quality of writing. At the end of a year, the Editor in Chief will distribute a copy of the tables of contents for the papers published in the year. Paper Award committee may find this table of contents helpful in nominating papers for consideration.
    Papers of the year will be selected, based on merit, in the following categories: a) Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), b) system engineering, and c) integrated risk management and operations.
    All committee members are invited to nominate one or two papers in each of the aforementioned categories. Nominations must be submitted to the Editor ON OR BEFORE january 1ST. Simply provide the title of the article, volume number, and one sentence that states the basis for the nomination.
