Professor Oded Berman named INFORMS Fellow

Professor Oded Berman of the Rotman School of Management was named a Fellow of INFORMS for his outstanding lifetime achievement in operations research and the management sciences and for demonstrating exceptional accomplishments and making significant contributions to the advancement of OR/MS during his academic career. He also received a Lifetime Achievement Award by INFORMS’s Section on Location Analysis. The award is given every three years to a researcher who has made significant lifetime contributions to location analysis research. The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS®) is an international scientific society with 10,000 members, including Nobel laureates, dedicated to applying scientific methods to help improve decision-making, management, and operations.
